Create a room and share its 8-character invite code, or join a friend's. Rooms are private to their members.

Questions, answered
Is Coworking free?
Coworking is free during the beta, with 4 focus sessions a day. Invite a friend, and once they finish their first session, you get unlimited sessions for the rest of the beta. Paid plans may follow after the beta.
Which browsers does it work in?
Google Chrome version 116 or newer on desktop. It uses Chrome's side panel, so other browsers aren't officially supported.
Do I need an account?
You sign in with your Google account. We use your name and email to set up your profile and show you to people in your rooms.
Can anyone join my room?
Only people who have your room's invite code can join. Room details, presence and chat are visible only to the room's members.
Does it use my camera, microphone or browsing data?
No. Coworking has no access to your camera, microphone or the pages you visit. See our privacy policy for details.
What happened to the coworking.live web app?
We've focused everything on the Chrome extension. The earlier web app and the coworking-space directory have been retired.
